Meet Liz: "Family homelessness is a perpetual cycle and something needs to be done to end it"

Before coming to Hamilton Families, Liz and her family were experiencing housing insecurity for the past 15 years, doubling up with family, staying at motels, and sleeping at rest stops all over the San Francisco Bay Area. After arriving at the Hamilton Families | Shelter, we found them a temporary unit in at Hamilton Families | Transitional Housing. No family should have to live out of a car, or at a rest top, or at a motel.

No family should have to experience homelessness because a three-digit number says they don’t the security and stability of a safe home. And no family should have to suffer the financial challenges and hardships that Liz's family is enduring because of the past decisions they made to survive together. We believe in Liz and her family, and we believe you can help give them a home.
