For over 35 years, we have been ending family homelessness
We’re proud to say we’re not just aiming to end homelessness for families in the San Francisco Bay Area—we’re actually doing it. When families become stably housed, they become change agents in their communities. Like us, you believed in the potential of our programs and services to break the cycle of poverty.
This work is made possible by our thousands of volunteers, donors and partners. Now more than ever, we know that the financial burden for families is incredibly high.
40% of families in our housing program have filed for unemployment or lost income.
Help us ensure that these families stay housed and stable during and after this pandemic and make sure we continue to help hundreds of families into permanent housing in the coming year. Our collective efforts make us stronger. Stand up with us for equality and give every child in our community mobility and a future of their dreams!
Artists & Ambassadors
To honor the investment made by countless stakeholders over the past 35 years, we will be holding a virtual Summer block party to elevate our work toward ending family homelessness and to celebrate the impact that Hamilton Families has had in our community.
This won’t be your average Summer block party, with special performances and appearances from:
Isaiah Johnson—currently appearing in David Makes Man on OWN, and who also starred as George Washington in the third national tour of Hamilton at BroadwaySF.
Bisi—the globetrotting and exploring artist and performer born in Nigeria and based in SF who is using his music as the intersection for compassion, equity and unconditional love.
Marja Harmon—currently playing Angelica Schuyler in the "And Peggy" company of the hit musical Hamilton at BroadwaySF.
The musical stylings of San Francisco’s own Honor Brass Band!
And let’s not forget a special appearance from retired San Francisco Giant’s player and three-time World Series champion, humanitarian and philanthropist, Jeremy Affeldt!
